Users

1. This Promotion and hosted tournaments is open to persons aged 18 years or over resident in the UK, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland. Proof of age and identity may be required. Entry to the App is free.
2. Employees of Sports PredicTour Ltd or each of their associated companies, their relatives, agents or agents’ relatives are not eligible to win prizes.
3. In order to enter the App, users are required to register at golf predictour.com (the “Website”) OR its related mobile apps (the “Mobile Apps”). Only one account is allowed per person. Multiple accounts will be closed. Only one entry per round, per day is allowed per person. If the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe that multiple accounts have been opened by or are under the control of the same person, all such accounts shall be closed and all entries by such user and/or accounts will be disqualified from participating in the Tournament or Promotion or receiving any or receiving any prizes. Users are required to register in their own name and any user found to be registering in the name of any other person will be disqualified.
4. Users will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when registering your details at the log in page on the App “Golf PredicTour’. These terms and conditions will apply for the duration of the 2021/22. Golf season commencing with tournaments on the 3rd January 2021.
5. In addition to the use specified above, the Promoter will use each winner’s, and each entrant’s personal details for the purpose of administering any Promotions. By opting in to receive offers communications you agree that Sport PredicTour Limited, and each of their group companies, businesses and business partners may use the details you give us to contact you about products and services that may be of interest to you. By opting in to allow us to use your customer profile, including but not limited to your age, location and gender, your browsing, predicting and gaming history and patterns, your social media usage and how you interact with us, you agree that Sports PredicTour Limited, and each of their group companies, businesses and business partners may use the details you give us to contact you and provide targeted marketing tailored to the products and services that may be of interest to you. You can change your direct marketing preferences by contacting us, by email at info@sportspredictour.com You can also click on the “unsubscribe” link in direct marketing emails from us to be removed from receiving future email marketing.

Golf PredicTour Rules

How do I register/ login?

To play the game you first need to download our App called ‘Golf PredicTour’ from either the Apple store (iphone) or Google Play (android phone). Download is free of charge.

Once you have downloaded our App, complete the simple registration process and log in. This will take you directly to the ‘Prediction’ icon, where you can select a Tour.

As part of the registration process, you will be invited to choose a ‘screen name’. Please be mindful of other users of the App and do not choose an offensive name.

How do I play the game?

Select a golf tournament from our hosted tours that you would like to play. Once you have chosen a tournament, select a player.

Predict their round of golf by filling in the scorecard for Day 1 and Day 2 of your selected tournament. You will be able to predict Days 3 and 4 after the cut at the end of Day 2.

Key game information is as follows:

• Select only 1 player per day and predict their round.
• All 18 holes must be predicted using the up and down arrows. Holes can also be left as ‘par’.
• Use your 3 bonus balls on any hole you wish.
• Only 1 bonus ball may be used on a hole.

You can make unlimited changes to your prediction up until 00:00 BST/GMT on the first day of each tournament in order to make sure you have the best possible chance of scoring more points.

How do I select a tournament and player?

Once on the ‘Select Tour’ screen, click the tour logo you wish to follow and see the tournaments we are hosting.

Click on your chosen tournament and it will open the field of players competing.

Select the player whose score you would like to predict by clicking on their name. Scroll down to see the whole field.

Key game information is as follows:

• You can only select one player per day.
• You can choose a different player for each day of the tournament OR predict the same player for all four days.

How do I predict my player’s scorecard?

• Use the up and down arrows to select the number of shots for each hole, or leave it as ‘par’.
• Select 3 holes for your 3 bonus balls across the 18 holes
• Click on the blue ‘Submit your Prediction’ icon at the bottom of screen

You have now predicted Day 1 and can repeat the above process for Day 2.

Day 3 and Day 4 become available after the tournament’s CUT has taken place – after Day 2 has been completed by all golf players.

What happens if my player doesn’t make the Cut?

You will be able select a new player for Day 3 and Day 4 to continue playing the Tournament.

What happens if play is suspended?

In this circumstance we are, unfortunately, at the mercy of the Tour. As and when play resumes we will continue to play.

However, please be aware that if any day is not complete there may be a shorter window for you to predict the next round. 

What if my player withdraws from the tournament?

You will receive an automatic notification (ensure you have turned them on in ‘Settings’) advising you that your selected player has withdrawn. You will then be able to choose another player and predict their scorecard.

If your player withdraws during a round – due to injury or illness for example – we will award 1 point for every 3 holes not completed – rounded up of course!

What happens if I miss a day of entering my prediction?

If you miss a day you will not gain or lose any points from your overall score.

How does the scoring work?

Points are awarded to users based on the correct prediction of a hole. The amount of direct points earned, as well as the additional bonus points obtained, is based on the difficulty/rarity of predicting the score for the golf player.

The table below shows the points and bonuses that can be obtained on the correct prediction of these specific results:

How do I earn bonus points?

There are four ways of obtaining bonus points:

Each user will be given three bonus balls to place on any three of the 18 holes on the scorecard.

Depending on whether the user predicted a Par, Birdie, Eagle, Albatross, Bogey or Double Bogey, they will be awarded additional points as defined in the table above.

The fourth way to earn bonus points, is for a user to correctly predict the overall total score for their player’s round. Three bonus points will be awarded in this case.

In summary:

• Three bonus balls can be placed on any three of the 18 holes
• Only one bonus ball can be used on any one hole
• 1 additional bonus point is awarded for Par, 2 for a Birdie and 3 for all other results
• 3 additional bonus points can be earned by correctly predicting the total score for the round

How do I join a League?

On the Home screen, select the ‘League’ icon. On the next page, click ‘Join League’.  Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and ‘Join’.

Key game information is as follows:

• You are only able to join a league, once you have at least predicted Day 1 of a chosen tournament.

How do I create a League?

Creating a ‘Private’ or ‘Public’ league is simple. To create, click the ‘League’ icon and select the blue ‘Create League’ at the bottom of the screen.

Private Leagues

Complete the necessary fields with the information we have asked for and select ‘Private’.

Your private league will be activated and you will become the administrator.

To invite friends, family, colleagues, it’s simple. Just press the blue ‘Invite’ icon at the bottom of the screen.

Key game information is as follows:

• You will need to know the ‘Screen Name’ of the users you wish to invite, and you can use the ‘search’ field to find them.
• Anyone invited will receive a notification and will be able to join.
• ‘Leagues’ can be deleted or edited at any time by pressing the ‘edit’ icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Public Leagues

Complete the necessary fields with the information we have asked for and select ‘Public’.

Your public league will be activated and you will become the administrator.

You can invite friends, family and colleagues. However, with a public league, other users of the App can also apply for and join the league if they are accepted by the administrator.

How do I use the Chat Room – The Banter?

Once a league has been set up, you can text your fellow players in the league at any time you wish and as many times as you wish. By touching the small blue and white ‘speech bubble’ icon in your league banner, you can add comments and start conversations with fellow members of the league.

Key information is as follows:

• All texts are automatically deleted after 72 hours
• Please do not use offensive language in the chat room, you may risk being deleted from the App
• Please do not use the chat room to abuse other members of the league

What do I do if I have forgotten my Login/password details?

Please send an e mail to info@sportspredictor.com and we will reset your password and/or Log In details. You will receive a confirmation e mail once we have amended your changes.

How do you contact us?

Please send an e mail to info@sportspredictour.com with your question or query, and we will reply as soon as possible.

1. Additional Bonus Prizes: Additional prizes and/or specials may be introduced during the Promotion or Competition at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that additional prizes are introduced, the Promoter will publish and notify users of any additional terms and conditions as may be applicable.
2. There is no cash alternative to the non-cash prizes and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
4. The Promoter will not be liable for prizes that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond its reasonable control.

Winners and Entrants Verification and Publication

1. Winners will be notified by email or telephone registered on their account. It is each user’s sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date. Winners will be required to verify (with evidence satisfactory to the Promoter) their age, identity, residence and other requested verification information to the satisfaction of the Promoter before they are eligible to receive a prize.  
2. If any entrant is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, verify their registration information to the satisfaction of the Promoter, has been found to have breached these terms and conditions by the Promoter or cannot be contacted within five (5) Business Days (a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England when banks in London are open for business), the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that entrant (and their eligibility to receive any prizes under the Promotion) and award the prize to another participant, if applicable.
3. Entry and participation in any Promotion or Competition constitutes permission for Sports PredicTour Ltd and/or its associated, affiliated and subsidiary companies to use the names, predictions and photographs of participants for publishing purposes at its discretion, including but not limited to, leader boards and other display within the Super 6 Website or related applications. All winners may be required to participate in such publicity as Sky reasonably requires. All winners may be required to participate in such publicity as the Promoter reasonably requires.
4. Allow 45 days for prizes for payment and delivery of prizes.

Submission of entries

1. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry. Under no circumstances can a user submit their entry via e-mail.

Limitation of Liability

1. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and each of its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from:
   • any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prizes, promotions or relevant golf fixtures beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control;
   • any technical failures or unavailability of the Website, Mobile Apps or other related platforms;
   • obvious errors or omissions relating to the awarding of prizes; or
   • for any act or default of any third party supplier including without limitation errors relating to golfing fixtures and scoring data.
2. The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable.
3. If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions are or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part-provision under this clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.

Promoter

1. The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding on all entrants and users in relation to all aspects of the Promotion and Competitions including (without limitation) allocation of the prizes and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with the Promotion’s rules or terms and conditions will be disqualified and will not be eligible to receive any prizes.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time if reasonably necessary to do so.
